Hey everybody. Sorry I've been incommunicado for so long. The job hunt has me smiley - blue, and I got smiley - ill for over a week. I'm sure the two are connected. Then, just when I started feeling better and wanting to talk again, my computer went down with a nasty virus, wiping some of my programs out!smiley - steam I was so scared, because it actually wiped out my floppy disc drive and my cd burner, and I didn't have all my files backed up, and so was terrified that I would lose all my work.smiley - groan
I can't tell you how relieved I was when my brother was able to pull his cd burner from his computer to put in mine so that I could back up all my files!smiley - biggrin My computer is still down, so once again I'm using my brother's, while he is away at his ex-wife's family's house.
I spent months getting all of my writing on my computer, so that it was all in one place, not half on napkins and scraps of paper. Ideas are all well and good, but I could never find them to flesh them out into stories, and they were all over the place. I have so many ideas that even after spending so much time getting them on disc, I still have binders and folders full of thoughts on stories, songs, poems, etc.
At any rate, I'm back now, and will hopefully be contacting each and everyone personally. I've missed being able to greet kindred spirits, those who know my points of reference, and who find reaching out across the world to say smiley - cheers a wonderful way to spend their time.

I've read all your posts in the reverse order that you wrote them. I read this one last. I just responded to your journal entry, and then saw your response to the message I posted to you a little while ago, then saw this response to my journal entry. Seeing it in that order gives me hope for your dear heart.
Remember, fainter hearts than yours have suffered greater pains than yours, and gone on to love again. Hearing that now will not make a dent in your emotions, so I hope you are already off line by the time I post this. If not, save it for later. As I've already said, feel now, heal later. I'm here for you, if you want to talk. Just leave a message, I promise I will get back to you, by hook or by crook.
Goodnight, sweet prince, and may flights of angels sing thee to thy rest. smiley - smooch

Job hunt, being ill and having a computer with a virus all at once doesn’t sound nice smiley - sadface. At least you were able to rescue your files smiley - smiley. I think that’s the most important thing. I’m kind of paranoid where back-ups are concerned. My old computer ended up with a head-crash. Fortunately I had back-ups for most files, but the new stuff was lost. smiley - erm
Anyway, I’m kind of a magnet for computer hardware problems. Just a few weeks ago my laptop went nuts. My brother is kind of an expert where computers are concerned and he helped me. In the end it turned out that the RAM was broken. I haven’t got the slightest clue how that could happen! smiley - weird

I hope you’re feeling better again, and that you’re able to get rid of the virus. All the best! smiley - rose
