h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

So I suspect that I've gotten myself in far too deep with trying to make everyone's Christmas presents this year. Four handmade blankets and a mitten/hat/scarf/slipper set along with various scarves all have to be done in three weeks... I think I've gone a bit mad, to say the least. Some of it is already well on its way to being done, three of the blankets are somewhere between 1/3 and 1/2 of the way done with minimal effort on my part, all but two of the scarves I needed to do are finished and the mitten/hat/scarf/slipper set I got a three week extension on because they were for a friend's girlfriend and he won't be here until the middle of January. Oh, and on top of all this I still have class every day for at least several hours. Lots of fun being a college student eh? Well that's me done complaining I guess... everyone try to get some sleep for me, please?

I gave up trying to think around four of the morning clock and got up around eight of the evening clock. If you take 8 hours off for the time difference, I'd say that was a fairly good attempt at sleeping for you with something of an over-the-top lie-in.

I get around the whole Christmas present quagmire by being a cold and heartless bast. The only person that gets a Christmas card let alone a present from me is my mother.

But some people do get little cards or gifts for new year's if I'm feeling generous.

I admire the crafty types.

Ooooooh.... funny... I'm still tired... I don't have the luxury of not being able to attend Christmas this year, otherwise no one would have gotten anything. Crafty is somthing I've always been though, so I figured "Hey, just make stuff".... biting me in the arse it is...

I got back from Judo about an hour ago, had myself a peanut butter sandwich and got into my PJ's... I'm intending to sleep until at least noon tomorrow... unless one of my roommates is "very very mean" and wakes me up... I would not be a happy camper to say the least. So do you want a scarf in about March when I get everything done

One of my roommates fell into the "very very mean" category and came in, in her words "speaking loudly", and in my words "yelling". So alas, I was awake at 11:15 this morning.

I find scarves uncomfortable. And yet they can look so good on other people... but no thanks.

Perhaps one of those picture is of the violence visited upon those that interrupt the sanctity of one's sleep?
