Officially, Autumn is nearly a month away but it already feels pretty autumnal in England. We haven't had much of a summer and we are running out of time for the arrival of some better weather. It was glorious yesterday but raining again today. I live in East Anglia where we usually get the best of the weather, but this has been one of the least sunny summers we've had in yearssmiley - erm

My princess suit was crushed! : (
Winter can be gorgeous; I do always get caught up in the whole crystal magic kingdom of it; I love ice on the trees, and the fresh air; I mean, in winter the cold makes air feel truly fresh; unless you live by highway or something.....
It is just more sparse in it's enjoyment than summer I find........and I live in the city and the fresh snow gets filthy instantly and traffic and late buses and late for work and all that mess..............
But, I do love skating on the world's largest outdoor skating rink!

I'm not as much for sledding; there seems to be alot of ice here as opposed to thick snow on the higher hills and I get scared. I don't like skiing downhill either; I get scared.
Soft snowy hills are fun though and I do that alot.
Do you have alot of snow in Scotland then? I never really pictured there being much snow there............

We do get snow smiley - biggrin we even have some ski resorts ,but the last couple of winters have been very wet and windy(storm force). They say it is due to global warming but who knows really, more an act of the gods prabablysmiley - laugh. We are on quite high ground and if it does snow , it drifts which is scarey ,snow so deep you cannot see the landscapesmiley - yikes
