Well it has started This afternoon we went to the first of the Christmas plays. Our youngest G.S. was a shepherd in the school nativity. He wore sunglasses because he wanted to be a shepherd. At 6 he is very consious of his image It was a modern version of the play and the innkeepers wife had her hair in rollers and instead of telling the Holy family there was no room at the inn the innkeepers' first line was to tell them to 'Clear off' before he told them they could 'kip down in the stable' and ' Don't touch me chickens!' This sad old bloke choked up when these little five and six year old children sang Away in a Manager.
My new roses seem to be alright in their temporary bed I am in the process of getting things together to make a Lasagna Bed for them.
The weather is wonderful, The Boss is well. The Son and his wife have an extension going on the house which is nearly finished and at the moment all is right with the world..
On Sunday I was up a tree in the back garden putting up Christmas lights, I had asked The Son to do it and he said he would, 'Sometime' so I did it myself and he turned up just as I finished
The Mousehole lights go on next week and I am going to try and photograph them for my friend(Theone who painted her grandchildren)
All my new O.U.stuff has arrived and I was not thrilled to discover my first exercise was to study and write about was memorials
