Got myself a spot on Radio Cornwall this morning talking about roses which was good fun. when I went up the road for the papers I had the rise taken out of me a bit by some of the lads who heard it.But no one asked me for my autograph!!
The Son and family turned up to take us out for lunch and had a coffee before we left, and they told us they had been asked to be best man and matron of honour at a wedding and would we look after the four children while they did it. Of course we said yes, and then they told us the wedding is in Scotland and they will be away for five days and would I drive them to Exeter airport and pick them up on their return and drive them back down..
As we had already said yes we knew we would do it but how we will cope with them all at once we are not sure. I expect it will be fun.
We had a good lunch and had a lot of laughs, the children were well behaved and when we took turns to tell stories I told them the three legged chicken joke which they thought hilarious
We came back here after and the children checked the sunflowers.
They went off and The Boss and I settled down to watch a Miss Marple thriller, for a couple of hours.
I had a huge e mail from The Australian who has severe problems with his son's wife and wanted some sympathy, duly sent back.
