h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

What a wonderful superb brilliant day. I celebrated my 'new found' health by chopping down another tree in the garden. it has been tempting me to take an axe to it since spring as it was obviously dead. After the last axe job I felt poorly so I just left it there daring me to risk my life by swinging an axe! Anyway I did the deed this morning and felt wonderful after,if a little breathless.
After lunch I went into Pz to see the Wednesday friends. A beautiful drive, sun shining, blue skies. I can see Madron Carn from the top of the hill as I drive in across the moors and it is ablaze with rhododendrons, a breath taking sight.
The Curley Headed one has given me a disc so that I can save everything on this when I shut it down, which I have to do because I have lost the drive to get pictures from my camera and so I have to start the whole lot from scratch. I wonder if when I come back all my journals will still be here?
I am doing the shut down next week and the curley headed one is going to talk me through it on the phone.
The Author and I had a coffeee this P.M.and he told me his book has got the interest of a film director and they are looking for a producer. I am pleased for him as he has been writing and revising the book for nearly eight years.
The son and The children came in later and he told me if the sea is right we will go out in the boat tomorrow. I told The Boss I was going to try water skiing and she had hysterics, so I said I wouldn't, (but I still might<evilgrin.)
