h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Bank holiday monday and we awoke to a Cornish special. Thick fog pouring rain and windy.
I struggled up the road for the papers but still managed to stop and chat to two or three people. Once we get chatting the weather doesn't seem to matter. We are a tough breed.
The kids all piled in as we were finishig lunch and asked us if we wanted to go to Camborne with them. We did and crowded into the people carrier. We went to Big W.(I preferred it when it was Homeworld), and then went into Poole Market. Bought some odds and bits had a mooch around Do It All, and then back home. On the way home the eldest G.S. asked me if I would help him with his school project 'My family'. Of course I said yes. And as I can trace my lot back to 1790 I have plenty of material.
I have been watching Coronation St. lately because The Friend Who Acts has quite a big part in it. He has actually finished filming now but will be seen for a few more weeks. He came down for my 70th birthday party and although we tried and tried he would not tell us how the plot works out, however I think he will turn out to be a baddie. He and I have been friends for more than thirty years. We were both so poor at one time we went potato picking, he went on with his acting career but I was married to The Boss and needed to get real work, but although he has had some success he has stayed my mate.
Tomorrow I see the Doc and find out for sure why I have been put on this low fat diet. I was bad today I ate a very high fat ice cream(but only one). I wonder if I am ? I shall know tomorrow.
