h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Sometimes(like today) I think my life is just drifting by with no aim or purpose. When I was working Sunday was always a day for getting out and doing things, now unless we are involved with the family we just idle the day away. Usually we go out to lunch because we can't be bothered to cook it. Today we cooked at home because we couldn't be bothered to go out. We have managed to sort out a practically fat free sunday roast and it was pretty good. Leg of lamb with all the trimmings and no dripping!
I did go up to get the papers and at about 4 this P.M. we managed to drag ourselves out for a walk. It was really pleasant and although we were only out for about half an hour we did enjoy it. This really has been a nothing sort of day. We haven't even seen the kids or heardfrom them which is unusual. While we were out we walked past their house and the boat was in the drive but no car. I thought they would have taken the boat out it issuch good weather but I expect they were on the beach!!!
