h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Following my little argument with Howard the other night i received an e-mail from the MODS telling me off about respect blah blah blah. Being a little sloshed and angry i sent one back to them telling them that they were so far up their own arses that they didn't realise what was happening to the board. I got one back today telling me that profanity wasn't allowed even if i did put f---k. I replied again that they should do their jobs properly seeing as i was replying to Howard who said that the BBC didn't give a f..k and his message was still there. What do you think the chances of a reply are?

They are like a bunch of kids! I got to the stage where I decided I wasn't playing their game anymore - if someone posted something that irritated me, I left them to it! Damn annoying when you can't seem them to have a blast at!

Looking at the chatter over there tonight, I think they may have all had a warning - I've never seen them so polite!

Hi (helen?), i agree about the boards. I posted one reply yesterday and the whole thread was deleted (don't know why, didn't get an e-mail). It really has gone downhill lately but like you say they all seem to be on prozac over there tonight, all nicey nicey (not at all like their usual selves).

I like the Comfort Corner - although I think I may have been the first to spill some wine on the floor as I got so excited in the Sports Corner last week! No doubt you'll find FBN and me there on Sunday for the Malaysian GP!

I like the Captains Time Log as well, so nice and comfortable, and he keeps such a great cellar, full of all the and anyone could ask for!

Corrie and I are just having a natter about books - a bit spooky as we seem to like the same authors - Patricia Cornwell, Janet Evanovich (spelling crap as always!), Ian Rankin - do you read lots?

I'm drinking water - no today. Apparently there is a bug going round. Apart from girly stuff, it explains the dizziness and on/off headaches, feeling sicky etc. Really will have to go to bed soon.

Helping husband at the mo - we're making DVD and CD-ROM for friends from the school concert on Friday.

Sorry Ruth, everyone has changed their names and i get so confused. I am Voodoo Chile over at R2 but you can call me Anna. I missed the first F1 race, just sat down to watch it and we had a power cut!!!!??!!!???!?! I haven't read a book for about 4 years, though hubby bought me Murray Walkers autobiography last year (i must read it soon). When i get enough time i will trawl through it all and try to do something creative.

We all changed our names so that some of the 'little ones' might not find us in our new home - as we didn't want to upset them!

Poor Corrie - you have been under the weather - never mind, chuck, have some sparkling water, you can always pretend !

Off to shortly as the weekend has finally taken its toll and I'm absolutely knackered! With any luck an early night and early morning (might go out for a walk at 6.30, as it's promising to be a really sunny day)will then set me up for a good day.
