Well, what a day! Not every day the rugby world cup is on display at a little village in the South-East of England!
The Cup was on display in a marquee, where you stood next to it and could either have your photo taken by the 'official photographer' or you could hand your camera to one of the assistants and he took your photo! (donation to RFU charity on way out).
When we got there the Cup hadn't arrived - there was a group of kids in waiting at the entrance to the marquee, we knew when the Cup was put on its pedestal from the cheer that went up!
Wow! So now my picture on the 'pooter is of me and the-man-indoors standing next to 'Bill'!
(ps: please don't talk to me about the 6 Nations!)

Hi Ruth,
Wish I could have a look at your picture.
It's a strange feeling that you and I may have bumped into each other now and then. Next time I'm over that way I'm sure I'll look at every attractive female and think it's you. I'll smile at them all just in case.
Have you ever met someone you know in the street and had a chat and afterwards went on your way still chuckling? People then look at you quite worried because they don't know why you're laughing to yourself.
Sad, isn't it, that it doesn't do to be laughing on your own?

Hi
It was your message about the eclipse, set me thinking we could have been on the same hill overlooking the sea!
You just keep on chuckling to yourself - one of the things I tell my delegates in a customer care workshop I deliver, is if they are feeling blue, then they just have to remember the most fantastic thing they have ever done, and they will grin - and if they grin, then everyone else around them will smile! - its contagious!
Will get around to updating my own personal website, and put the photo there and then let you all have the address!
Am going to get another - 3 phone calls, all dealing with Scout issues, and have spent the last 2 days doing Scout Accounts, and other stuff!
Now desperately trying to catch up with some work - serves me right for taking a day off!

Hi Ruth - you haven't seen the Vince Lombardi Trophy recently have you? (Oops, that's American Football...!)
Lots of coverage of the new 'Scouting For Boys' on Radio 4 recently.
F'rinstance, two weeks ago, Open Book examined B.P.'s recommended reading list - heavy on Sherlock Holmes's 'deduction by reliance on social stereotypes', and no sign of H. Rider Haggard's slightly erotic African adventures...
Tomorrow, Laurie Taylor will be discussing Scouting in the modern world, on his excellent Radio 4 sociology programme 'Thinking Allowed'. It'll be on 'listen again' if you miss it.

Hi Rich
Thanks for this - will check it out! - although it will probably on listen again, as am out delivering training tomorrow, rather than sat in the office with the radio on!
Think I could do with getting the new version, at some stage!
Lunch break over - now back to work!
Just top up my first!
Ruth
