Back to school...

...for my kids, anyway! I suppose I am a 'student' as well, doing a home study course on Egyptian hieroglyphs of all things! My partner is training to be a driving instructor, so we are all quite busy swotting up!
The earlier moan I had about life has cleared a bit, I get stuck in a rut sometimes because my fear of being a failure or of pain, or death, stops me living to my fullest. I decided the other night though, that doing a CBT course would not really be entirely life-threatening (except maybe the bit where you ride on the road!), so I should at least attempt that. With regard to my partner's biker friend (my friend also?), I discovered that he was a Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks fan like myself, so that pleased me somewhat! 
I would love to see this man's paintings too, he seems to be multi-talented, being an artist, painting landscapes for a hobby in oil, watercolour and acrylic. My partner saw his paintings for the first time today, and he said they looked really professional. I wish this man could give me some tips on painting!
Anyway, rambling on as usual, and not a lot to say, except I became a fully-fledged moderator of a forum this week, which thoroughly chuffed me, as I have been a semi-moderator of one part of this forum for ages. It's nice to think I'm vaguely useful to someone!
