I'm just a touch bored. Two night's running I'm made myself sick through binge eating on fudge and marshmellows, someone give me something else to do.

Oh yeah, I think you've mentioned working as a guard before. Hmm, probably is a bit of a depressing job, even if you know you can get out again.

Guard Sounds like something from the 1950's. I'll have you know I'm an Officer and quite well educated thank you *tut*
Depressing, never a dull moment Apart from nights when it's just listening to all the whinging.
Thought you'd gone off to join a rock band and get a proper job like Robyn.

Gigs arn't as good now they've got rid of smoking inside. I don't actually smoke but I adore the smell for some reason. My happiest memories go with the smell of either cut grass, cake mix or a mix of cigarettes and cheap deodourants.
and Sorry about "guard", it's the only word I could think of. My only knowledge of prisons comes from porridge and jokes about not picking up the soap, really you were fortunate not to be McKay or one of the screws

I'm a good screw, 500 can't be wrong I'll probably get yikesed for that joke, won't be the first time!
Porridge was actually a very good dipiction of inside life, mix it with the gritty realisism of "Scum" (the original film) and you'll have it just about right.
I try hard to be fair, treat everyone the same and be reasonable, though, professionalism and personal integrity are very important to me, thus the "McKay" manner is still very evident. There will always be that distance between "me" and "them"
I did laugh at the references to cigarette smoke, cut grass and cake mix I'm sure you meant it in all innocence and naivity but in the same sentence Of course Rock Groups do have a reputation for somking "rastafarian old holbourne" I don't smoke, but in all seriousness, I see the damage caused by the more exotic mixes smoked every day Anyone who tells you otherwise should spend a day on the landuings with me looking at the lifes wasted or destroyed because they thought it was ok, cool or "I can handle it" Yeah sure (cheap deodourant) I'll get off my soap box now

Ohh, no, I didn't see that at all. I still giggle just at the phrase "space cakes", I'm sure I'm tapped enough anyway without drugs. As far as I know none of them lot are on any either.

See, you've got loads of 'friends'on H2G2 who'll always give you a distraction from the doors that won't open. Crumbs, you sound like a prisoner yourself trapped in there
Mrshmellows and fudge is a better alternative to , though sometimes chocolate is the answer to everything
Ok, serious question, you don't have to answer and do remember this is an open forum prone to some of whom I think should be locked up here by me . I digress, why do you feel trapped?

I think that was a phase quite a while back, I can't quite remember why I did...probably to do with not getting out enough, these moods just happen.

And now your bouncing back As I said,we all have anonymous friends here who help I have implicit trust for Robyn, you'd do well to talk to her, and she's a rock musician, not a boring old fart like me!
Hope you've been entertained a little, at the very least. Drop by anytime and I'll do my best if I'm on line to waffle about nothing like I always do
Time for me to do my rounds and make sure all the are safely tucked up Perhaps I may pop back later if you're not totally bored and

Ohh, I see where you got trapped from, at first I thought you were reading between the lines from other journals. "Tapped" is an expression for being a bit wrong in the head. I think the phrase comes from the brain cells lost from having your head tappedagainst a wall as a baby.

Well here I am again, nowt but the for company.
"Tapped", hmmmmmmm, knew there was something missing in my life the reason for me being the way I am - tapped.
Jonah'd myself last night went off to do rounds and it all went wrong, not me, just got busy all of a sudden, happens like that here.
You'll be pleased to know Robyn finally got round to telling me how you submerge a van up to it's roof in the floods
I can rest easy in life now
