The GP at Monza is tonight our time, and Jim is very excited that Juan Pablo Montoya has got pole. He may win! Jim is thinking about Formula Onre as a way of not worrying about exams. Displacement activity.

Surprise, surprise! My laptop still hasn't arrived. Computers don't seem to like me... they either break, or refuse to arrive!

No, you didn't upset me at all! I love intellectual blurb! Really, no one is receiving any mails of me at the moment! My organizing abilities are simply utterly outstanding!

I'm busy following your journal entries! It's great to read about your college adventures! The first few days are always the worst (enrollment, disorientation, strange people...), I'm confident that it's getting better soon!

Yes, Montoya won, and Jim was hysterical with delight. Because it's holidays for him, we watched it live, and even I felt a lift of joy in my heart. It really was very delightful.

He's in the hospital for the first time, not just the classroom, next Wednesday. He's been working on an assignment all week.

I hope your thesis is going well... with it.

Is Formula One very popular in NZ?

I still haven't got my new laptop. I don't understand why it's taking them so long to send the right one. The wrong one was here in no time!

Formula One isn't very popular, except amongst aficionados such as my son, and my brother - he was a great fan..
Jim says his friends are fans, but there's not a lot of media coverage...

The laptop saga must be very frustrating!

My new laptop finally arrived and I'm now working with it. So far the DVD/CD drive refused to open, and the laptop crashed twice with bluescreen without any apparent reasons. This all happened within the first 24 hours I've been working with it. What the heck is it with me and computers?

It's just you I swear. I formatted and reloaded our entire computer at the weekend and have had absolutely no problems at all...

I hope you get it all sorted though...just don't hit the thing or put chocolate all over it in revenge
