My Hitchhiker Obsession

I first found out about the book when I was surfing Wikipedia about the meaning of life and it mentioned the 42 thing. I went to the article and was very interested. I laughed, I cried, ect.
Anyway, ever since that day I had been obsessed with seeing the movie which at the time was brand new. I, at a bookstore, looked at the first two pages of the first book. Hilarious. But I had to leave and didn't have time to buy it. After a long time, I finally got my hands on a paperback edition of The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
It took me about a year to read all of the books. I love it's humor. I love it's political and religious messages. I love it's action. Ect. Ect. Ect.
And it took me forever to find this web page. I signed up as someone else, but forgot the password, so I signed up under this name, and here I am.
I currently own a paperback copy of the Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (which includes the four main books, plus "Young Zaphod Plays It Safe," and a 1982 note from Douglas Adams), and a DVD of the recent movie which I also saw in theaters. I'm trying to get the 1972 comic version of the first book.
That's pretty much what I have to do with H2G2.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
