Mr Howard Please Phone ROVE!

Post 1

Uncle_Bob - Back In Black

For those of you who don't know, Mr Howard is our prime minister here down under, and Rove is a TV presenter. Rove would like Johnny to appear on his show, but just because they make fun of him all the time, Johnny doesn't want to. There are billboards all over Australia asking him to do it, and Dicko, one of the judges in 'Australian Idol' asked Mr Howard to please phone Rove. Mr Howard wasn't there, obviously. So the reason I am posted this is so that if you ever run into the prime minister, or know someone who might, please tell him to phone Rove.

Cat-Eyes: No..... why.... ?

Did you watch Rove last night? How he was at Parliament, that was funny. And when some guy just came up to John Howard and said "Prime Minister, phone Rove!' and the channel 10 news guy had it on camera and told Rove.

How good would it be if he actually did next week?

It wouldn't be any good at all. It would get rid of the fun.

I promise that I'll tell Johnny to phone Rove at our next lunch together, but we're only aquaintences so I can't promise anything. smiley - smiley

I liked the trap, although it was obvoius that the twine wasn't connected to the box when he pulled it to spring it.

I think they should do a two minutes at your house with Johnny if they can't get him on the show.

Yeah, that'd be cool. Mind you it'd just be like two minutes on the steps of Kirabilly. (Sp?!?!)
