Why so joyful?

BTW, we share about 90% of musical tastes... I force my roomie to listen to the Poets most of the time...

Yeah, gotta love the Poets, 'specially since Third Verse. I mostly spare my roommate from it, more cuz I expect him to do likewise than any other reason.

As for joy, you know that Christian walk thing everyone keeps talking about? Well, I think I'm running. Either that or I wasn't moving at all before. If you take my meaning...

I understand completely... and am a little jealous. I've been crawling lately, but mainly that's my fault...

As for the Poets, I tend to put "Firefly" on continuous repeat... I love that song...

ditto. It's kinda funny at my Church. The church administrator and I are presumably the only people who listen to that type of music. We kind of keep it quiet because Fundamental Baptists are traditionally against rock of any kind. Anyway, he occasionally can't restrain himself about a particularly good song and qoutes the lyrics in a sermon. (Sorry about the ramble) To make a long story short, Firefly made the cut.

Hmm... did you guys win last night? I can't tell from the shouts outside my dorm...

Football... that's why there was practically noone on campus last night.

The games goin on right now for us, we're playing Connecticut. Sure you guys weren't plaing UVA or some such?

We have no football team here... too little. I thought the game was last night for some reason...

So, how's your weekend goin?

Pretty well... everyone in my dorm went home again this weekend, but that's really okay. I sorta like the time to myself to just laze around and be a bum. Well, moreso than I am normally, anyway. I just got done seranading those who *are* here on the piano downstairs... I stink at it, but I love playing piano.

How was your weekend?

Excellent! Lots of basketball and other procrastination-type activities. Church this morning was good, too. Somehow I ended up in a row full of students from my area in Northern Virginia, coincidence?

My suitemate just got back from home a little while ago... she and her family are attempting to put together a futon in the other room, and I keep hearing unencouraging thunking sounds and yells... something tells me it isn't going well.

Heh. Probably one of those prepackaged dealies complete with complementary gremlins (or is it gnomes?).

Gnomes, I think... gremlins lurk inside my computer on a regular basis... Especially with this silly network...

Makes me glad I live in "the most wired town in America". Not that my computer doesn't have the odd pixie or whatsit, but our network takes itself very seriously.

Ours has a tendancy to just decide to shut down now and again... makes it very difficult to talk to people off campus who are expensive long distance...
