Just a short journal entry typed in the shadow of Arthur, antenna 1 at BT Goonhilly Satelite Earth Station! Sat right at the bottom of Cornwall near the Lizard (most southerly point on mainland UK).

Goonhilly brings back fond memories, both of visiting the area and of the first TV broadcasts from the US to the UK (introduced by Richard Dimbleby, I think)Glad you're having a good time

It is called Arthur and the rest have also been given names, all from Arthurian legends.
That particular piece of TV does get shown rather a lot in the visitor centre
