Going batty!

I really have got 'bats in the belfry'!
They're living under the eaves of my house.
I've been outside this evening trying to identify them, but all I've identified is that they fly very fast.
I don't think they're long-eared bats though (as far as I can see!), so that really leaves pipistrelles or possibly one of the less common varieties of British bats.
I could hear them squeaking away in their roost, before flying out one by one, and swooping around me. Must get onto the local bat society and get them to identify them.

Best you carry a sharpened stake and/or garlic and/or holy water just in case..

I don't think 'Sus could be cruel to bats!
Could be the equine Buffy the Pipistrel Slayer, hmm, I'm not sure it has the same ring to it
