What do they say about 'absence makes the heart grow fonder'? Weeks of separation from my computer has spurred my brain into working harder to find excuses to be a regular h2g2 addict still! I'm really pleased Peta managed to put it up on the front page, especially so quickly, I only hope it will generate some interest (or I'll end up talking to myself again)! So where's your contribution then?!

I hope my other entry will get approved. I'm reasonably happy with it (unlike WTSC), and I even checked to make sure there was no approved entries on the subject already (or in fact any!) I'm even tempted to apply to be a sub-editor, as they'll be recruiting again soon.

On another note, I am getting truly fed up with SCREAMINGnet. Their current upgrading seems to result in: a)not being able to connect to the free service(ie. I am actually paying for this call!), b)crashing my computer, c)making my instant messaging services inaccessible, d)generally all three at once, even after giving up trying to connect to screaming.net and using another ISP. I have to restart the computer after trying (even unsuccessfully) to connect to them, before I can get a reliable connection through another ISP. Of course, this also means an increase in revenue for Localtel, as I have to use a pay per minute service again. Clever!
