So there's another new smiley we need... . It could be useful in political threads, and I dare say Hoo would use it a fair bit when he's at his most dogmatic.

Ivan, Yes, a new smiley for manure (a heap for example) would be a civilised substitute for all the four letter words that politicians etc. make us want to use from time to time.
Keep going. I am very impressed with your determination, and I wish you good health.
Oh, I nearly forgot (just for the *heap* you understand!) as we don't have the requisite smiley

No, not really. I can't find it in me to be angelic. But being less than 9 hours from the end of a full month of non-smoking does make me feel a bit smug.

I also congratulate Ivan! With much !
But I feel very sure he has passed over a certain threshhold now and especially the smug and content feelings he is having for not smoking will see him through.
Meanwhile, you can call out the calvary and get on my sorry butt because I've been smoking like an idiot the past few days. But really, it *is* just self-indulgence on my part.
I can not smoke for days, or even weeks, and never feel a need to. Never with the slightest of 'withdrawal' symptoms. But then I smoke again because, um, I feel like it? STUPID! I know.
Does anyone else have this weird smoking pattern? So far I'm the only person I've met who has this.

Az, I hope that helps.
Your smoking pattern does sound familiar - I do know a few people who can do that - they're all women, incidentally. Maybe men are more prone to outright addiction?
This is the start of The Second Month!
Thanks for the stars, Websailor!
Ivan.

Ivan, you are welcome. You've made me happy
Az, now come on, you CAN do it -permanently. Think of all the money you will save. Of course if you are rich that is irrelevant, but health wise I am sure you will notice the difference. You will smell nicer too
Lady Pennywhistle, I keep wanting to write too, and I am waiting for a smiley too,,, in the form of a heap!! I almost called you Lady Penelope,

Bloody well done Ivan, X 10, sorry difficult to do smileys (latest stupidity is a probably broken finger, this time NOT my fault!)
I am just an out & out addict, totally nicotine addicted, awful.
hey, i read somewhere about really tiny little well trained they are now using as guides for the blind, bet you could fit one of those into your place & it would presumably produce less ; though is a jolly good thing IMHO, ask any worm, farmer, grower; at the end of the day we are all merely a tube & food recycling unit.
Ahh, in *my* day we had "rag 'n bone" men on horse drawn carts, you went out with unwanted stuff & got a goldfish in return & the got eagerly shovelled up by keen gardeners.

On country trips around here it's quite common to see signs at the roadside - ' $2 a bag'. Sometimes they specify the animal that created the resource as well, be it or or . The signs that bother me are the ones that say 'collect your own '. There are limits to frugality, self-sufficiency, and organic gardening...
*changes subject*
The first day of Month 2 has gone quite well. The day was not a good one in itself - sundry headaches in the office, that sort of thing - but I still didn't crack!

What's wrong with collecting your own manure? If you pick it up yourself, you know exactly what you're getting - no nasty surprises when you check it at home
