h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I really must come back to h2g2 and find out what I am supposed to be doing. Still, as a silver surfer getting this far is probably quite an achievement.

I like to chat when I have time, so if there are any other "confused" newbies out there please get in touch.

What's there to be confused about. You just need to know they have <guide and not lowercase tags, and they have deprecated <em and <strong.

My beef is that one has to wait for responses to messages, and that they are permanent! I would hope they have an IRC type chat engine sometime soon. But, like you, I'm a newbie and I'm sure my ideas would be as irritating as a buzzing fly.

If you need a friend, I'll try.

I picked up the text of The Ancient Mariner off the John Ridgway page. It is one of the few things I remember from school days. It really made an impact then, and I am delighted to have the words in full again.
