Another circuit 'round the Sun is through.
I wanted to buy a new golf bag in August but was strictly forbidden to do so, allowing the lovely bride to give me one as a birthday gift in November. Same story with the h2g2 film, which I was not allowed to get until the girls gave it for me for a present.
Mrs X cooked a special Pennsylvania Dutch treat - pig's stomach (not as bad as it sounds!) and she even found a case of John Courage for me to wash it down with!
Then after dinner, we all watched the film and the girls got much more of the humour than I would have thought. And they both went to school the next day singing 'So Long and Thanks for All the Fish', which I'm sure went over big with their teachers...
Overall, a good way to celebrate turning 37.

Happy birthday!
I've bought the film for my son's birthday, which is on Thursday. I'm sure I'll be enjoying it as much as he will, as I'm sure I will his other presents.
