Election Day here in Pennsylvania.
I worked my typical 15 hours (6 am to 9 pm) at the polls, helping people use the machines and counting the vote at the end of the day.
This was an off-year/municipal election where we elect school directors and town councilmen so turnout was poor. Traditionally, the election with the greatest impact on an individual's life always draws the smallest voter turnout.
In my voting district we had 387 voters cast ballots of the 1200 who were eligible.
Sad isn't it?
And sitting around all day waiting for those people to come in makes for a *long* day too!

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
