Me - a bit of myself
Antithesis Posted Dec 15, 1999
I got my name from sort of a running joke... I've always wanted to be in a rock band but never found anyone to play with... so I started my own rock band with me as the only member and called it "Antithesis"... that way I can feel important and also speak about myself in third person, which can be fun.

My friends and I do monty python stuff all the time, incuding going around quoting DESPITE the stares we attract

Crazy_Gal Posted Dec 17, 1999
Oh my goodness...monty python....i may not have watched it 200 times (in fact only 4 or 5) and i may not be able to quote very well from it...but i do think it is one of the most funniest movies...a work of art...that was ever made! We were just talking about monty python and the search for the holy grail today in lunch. it is quite odd when ppl around you are eating and then you say "whatta ya gunna do? bleed on me?" or "dont say it. oh i just said it. oh i said it again...oooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!" wierd and amazing how ppl can form such funny looks on their faces when you do that... i hv a friend in germany who owns the CD of monty python and all that jazz... anyway...

I have been wearing bells on my shoes and my python obsessed friends have something to say about it.
"The bells are getting louder!"
"WHAT?!"
"THE BELLS ARE GETTING LOUDER!!"
"I CAN'T HEAR YOU, THE BELLS ARE GETTING LOUDER!"
he he he.
From the stupid skit where they blow up a church.. not very... yeah... ??

hehehe...funny! is anyone out there where you are obsessed with this game called Magic or something like that? it is a card game that is really complicated but they have pics of wizards and other odd things on them. it's a war game.
i see a lot of that game around in my school.

Yeah, there's this click (sp?) of people that play Magic at the lunch table... they're weird. And speaking of Monty Python... what is it with Mormons and MP? It's like a Mormon past-time! There was a time when I watched the Holy Grail every Friday, so that I got to the point where you could name a line in the movie and I could tell you the line after that- I essentially memorized the entire movie. I remember me and my best friend Justing singing "Spam spam spam spam... lovely spam! Lovely spam!"... etc at the mall in the food court. We're weird and proud. He's a non member but I gave him a BOM last week... I'm rambling now.

Okay, you can be the president. I'll be the senior vice president and court bard.
Well, we need music, don't we??

Antithesis Posted Dec 20, 1999
Arthur the court bard now sings a song, written freestyle, spur-of-the-moment.
The Mormon Club song
It's the Mormon Club
The coolest in the Guide
So don't insult us, Bub
We may go home and cry
Bravo! Hooray! Whoopee!

wow! such talent! its magnificent.
i say we adopt it as our official theme song!
all who agree...or whatever....say aye (or yes...either one will do)
all who don't, too bad because its a majority vote and guess what! i am that majority and i say aye (matey)
now all rise for our playing of the theme song....
*everyone rises*
Its the mormon club
the coolest in the guide
so dont insult us, bub
we may go home and cry
OH! it brings tears to my eyes
*clap clap clap*

ok lets not and say we did

i never heard that song... i only heard one about sipping cider...and one:
you take your girl and your boy in a little canoe
with the moon shinin all around.
He paddles his paddle so *do paddling movement*
you couldn't even hear a sound.
well, they talked and they talked til the moon grew dim...
he said "you better kiss me or get out and swim"
so whatcha gunna do in a little canoe with the moon shining all a--the boy swimmin all a-- the girl paddlin all around.
KICK THE BOYS OUT!

*marches back with her army of penguins and the froodies shirt you have ever seen (red yellow white black and a hint of blue. Very froody)*
I had a good christmas.
Hope yours was froody...
My only problem now (aside from babysitting on new years (cybernetic doomsday) eve) is how to deal with my YW prez.
I'll fume when the holidays are over and then ask for some advise.
Later!
*marches away, followed by her christmas penguins*

I am babysitting. But I have my flashlight radio and chinese food, so I think that I will survive.
... except the people who I am babysitting for are gonna be out drinking and if there is not power... i will have to take a cab home... never done that before... agh, I be alright
Me - a bit of myself
Crazy_Gal Posted Dec 31, 1999
if the power goes out, i will scream! or at least make sure i got batteries and an extra radio, cuz you cant dance w/o music (or at least i don't most of the time). but what if the cabs stop workin too. then what?
