I had a difficult time with LiveJournal's 'bot checker, too.
I think they must be deliberately selecting for something, because they seem to have been using it for awhile, and I often get "we improved our site" posts from them.

Stupid bloomin' bot-checker.
Still, you get to lurk. http://snailrind.livejournal.com/46910.html

Hah! You saw my reply. Perhaps you can educate me, eh?
Jab: I'd narrowed down the possibilities to you and one other person. But you had me going. I do enjoy guessing-games.

Wow, Lampost: I thought you'd disappeared into the world of Real Life (wherever that is).
I'm flattered.

Most people are liable to get very little from clicking on this link--but certain people (like Lucky Llareggub, for example) will see me naked.

Gaelic is turning out to be markedly unhelpful in deciphering this. I'm betting Welsh pronunciation is key.

You can probably guess at the general gist, though.

In case you think I'm writing in code again, by the way, I'm not. This is genuine Wenglish, as spoken by many people here in Wales. I considered not putting a link here, but then I thought the odd person (like yourself) might have fun trying to figure it out anyway. Also, a couple of people here could probably understand it straight off.

Having just watched "Pirates of the Caribbean: the Curse of the Black Pearl" on DVD, I saw in the special features (old Disney clips section) that they were making an animatronic snail - complete with slime trail. Unfortunately, I didn't then manage to spot it in any of the shots of the final ride. Do you think it slithered off?
One of the animatronic chickens might have gobbled it.
Or it could have escaped from Disney's control altogether to go start a new race of animatronic snails. I wonder how far it is (as the snail slithers) from the theme park to the launchpad, eg for hitching that ride to Mars ..._@o"

Speaking of snails, I'm heading to London in three weeks' time (health permitting), so anyone living down that way should put in your orders for giant African landsnails here.
Alternatively, we could have a drink and a natter somewhere.

Is this a publishing-related trip or an entertainment-based one (or something else)?
