You're reminding me of my old dog Muttley. She was this neurotic black border collie in a permanent state of moult, who regularly skidded around the lino flooring, with her claws enthusiastically scrabbling at right angles to the direction of her snout.

The Top Gear bunch had a "theory" about front-wheel-drive animals versus rear-wheel-drive animals and how that related to cars ... and no, as a ludicrously stretched analogy, it didn't really make a great deal of sense!

Vix, we get Weetabix at Trader Joe's. I know there's a couple of stores in New York... I checked their web site and there's stores located in Commack, Merrick, Hartsdale, Oceanside, Hewlett, Plainview, Lake Grove, Scarsdale and Larchmont. Dunno if any of those are close to you? Barring that, mebbe I can mail you a box? 
I wouldn't mind, really.

I don't know any of those names offhand, I shall look into it.
I'm thinking I have some extra pocket money this week...I may treat myself to stuff from britshsupplies.com or some other site
You really neednt send a box of weetabix, altho I do really appreciate the offer
