Reminds me of an episode of Northern Exposure. Maggie the (gorgeous!) pilot is at her opthalmologist's and is told she has presbycusis, which is 'Quite common for people in their thirties.' She says 'Thirty? Thirty?! I'm nowhere near thirty! I'm only twenty-nine!'
