got soaked on the way home this morning but it was sunny by the time I got up today

we spent first 3 hours doing nothing I mean training of course

I have a fire warden training session next week...we get to put out fires !!

They let you near fires

Obviously they don't know me very well

When they told me we'd be putting out fires, I told them I'd be more than happy to start a couple...they won't let me though

but surely somebody has to

I suppose they'll just light boring old rubbish bin fires or the like...I wonder if we're allowed ot have an extinguisher fight >

somehow I doubt that after this you're going to get a job as Fire Safty Officer

Why not, I mean, of all the people in the office, I think it's safe to say I'm the least *scared* of fire

and are they meant to find this reassuring

somehow I'm reminded of that scene in Dogma in the gunshop

come on, with you in charge I'll bet there'd end up being fire alarms and drills whenever you got bored

Nah...as much as I love inspiring fear in the masses...the helmet messes up my hair

So maybe you really are the best person for the job
