Homeless
Jimi X Posted Jul 22, 2003
You could stay in my cellar, but flying from Pennsylvania to the UK every day would be a nasty commute I reckon.
That happened to us right after my second daughter was born and I started a new job. We figure that our family is immune to stress since we had all of life's major stressors at once.
I'm sure you'll land on your feet. I once lived out of my car for a summer and *that* wasn't too bad even if it did kill my goldfish Ahab.
Perhaps I'm not a good person to talk to about this...

Only slight problem is that I don't have a car either. So its a little tricky trying to live out of that. Luckily I have 2 months to find somewhere else and my current letting agent likes me so hopefully she can find something. On the other hand I could try to buy the place, but I have this feeling I can't afford it.
Anyway

You can squat in my new flat until I'm ready to move in. In fact, you could help with the decorating while you're at it.

I think I'm going to have stick to my current area, the commutes would be too long otherwise.
Hmmm, house hunting

Right then.
Offer - accepted
Mortgage - formally applied for
Solicitor - demanding a cheque
Savings - soon to vanish
Paper work - piling up rapidly
Well that was a fun 2 weeks!!
