I gave up 18 hours after I started. I can't live without h2g2, you were totally right.

A week after I first got internet access (and h2g2 obv) I managed 43 1/2 hours.

I can manage 24 hours over a weekend, including Friday night. But thats cos I get free weekend calls to my ISP, and my own phone line.

Right, okay. H2g2 is dying. It keeps saying I have no postings, journal entries, or user pages, and now it's been saying tthere are 0 peeple logged on.

Well there are over 50 people on at the moment. I think they need to upgrade the servers again.

They did it when that added all the funky new features. But it is slowing down again.

Maybe they should take the new features away and have it how it was, it was a heeluva lot quicker than it is now.

Its not that, I think that H2G2 got a link from a big international service and there are just loads of new people using it.

But we don't really know that, it just seems there are more people coming on here on average per day because the users list informs us who is new now.

Yes but until recently I had never seen the list get up to more that 40 people, and now it regularly gets up to 60+.

I've never seen it over 60, the highest I've seen was 56, and that was before they put all the new stuff in.
