my dear dear boy!, it is so lovely to see you back again. i have so missed out interesting chats both here and other places such as email and icq. interesting thing that icq...the more i use it the more confusing it becomes, sometimes it works/sometimes it doesn't.

Agony-Auntie! I've missed ya! Fenny's got my ICQ #, but I prefer the AOLIM thingie- for reason of convience. I'm running linux for all of my net apps now- would be running it everywhere, but some of my hardware only has windoze drivers (scanner, drawing tablet, web-cam)- at any rate- my windoze box is behind a firewall- doesn't even talk to the internet. So AOLIM is the message client of choice!

What I DO wonder, however, is why my posts keep dissappearing from various and sundry forums?

When I checked yesterday, they were all still there in that one forum... and re-iterated ... are you sure they're the same forums? And that you're at the very end of the thread when you check them? When you go to read the replies, click on the actual time of the reply, and it'll take you right to the active part of the forum...

Yeah, now I know what you're doing. If you click on the forum TITLE, i.e. 'Women', you will be taken to the first page of comments. This doesn't contain all of the postings, only the first 25 or so. That's prolly what you've been doing. If you click on the link right after "Last posted", for example, it'll take you to YOUR most recent post. If you click on the time/day after "Last Reply", it'll take you to the last post - which is currently some girl telling you that you're extremely sexist an' you won't get anywhere in life.... *giggles insanely*
