It's a wonderful day in the neighborhood..

I've just awakend from my sleep, put on a pot of beans (I'm making RED BEANS AND RICE for dinner today!), and slipped a pan of mini-egrolls into the oven to break my fast!
I'll not wax gradiloquent about it, but I'm in a chipper mood!
RED BEANS AND RICE:
1 bag of Red Kidney Beans
1 large onion
1 lb. Cajun sausage
4-5 cloves of garlic
Louisiana Hot Sauce- to taste.
Rice enough for the servings you wish to eat immediately.
Prepare dried kidney beans according to directions on package, as the second boil approches, put in the chopped onion, sausage, and garlic, and a bit of hot sauce (I prefer cayenne to tobasco, at this stage, otherwise any company you might have drop by will proclaim your beans "TOO HOT"- the sissys!). Let cook until beans are tender.
I assume you know how to make rice, and if you're smart you made your rice about 30 minutes before your beans were done- that way you have warm, fluffy rice as a bed for your nice pot of beans!
Another nice thing to do is put some garlic bread in the oven about 15 minutes before the rice and beans are done- that way you'll have some nice, hot garlic bread to eat with your pot of beans and rice!
The only bad thing about today is that I have no tea! I'm out of tea! ARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHH! What is a meal without a spot of SWEET ICED TEA???!!!???

Well, ma'm- I'm afraid we're gonna hafta re-possess all your time, if you don't have any time-stamps! It just ain't right that you should get by without turnin' 'em in just the same as other folks! Now you just mosey off along to the end of the holidays, and we'll see ya in June....
