h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I decided to call this entry "hardcore porn" purely in the in the interests of generating some kind of response. Actually I have little to add. Wimborne is close to the the sunny seaside town of Bournemouth, which has something of a reputation as a retirement home for the terminaly infirm. Actually a thriving club scene has sprung up in the wake of an ever expanding university. The uni has a poor repuation, but inspite of this boasts one of the highest records for graduate employment. Whatever the image that students have, the growth of higher education in the area has only been benificial to the area. Once Bournemouth was something of a dry spot for town centre pubs, but now the choice is wide and varied. Last night, I sampled Edwards, The Brasshouse, Yates, Bar Vin and Slam. A fun time was had by all, if you'll pardon the cliche. Julia is out on this very town tonight, hence my sitting here with an ever diminishing bottle of claret. (P.S. In case it looked like I was suspicously praising Bournemouth University too much, I was a student at King Alfred's in Winchester, and I'm now thirty)
