Grrr. How come embedding HTML markup in the "about me" stuff at the top is effective ( for new lines etc) but for italics doesn't work in the journal? Now my journal looks dumb.

Not dumb, funny maybe, but not dumb. Humor is in the eye of the Beholder, since this researcher has yet to find the Magic HTML key (embedded or otherwise) we will not allow any one who thinks they might be on the trail of the Magic HTML key to think of themself (or their output) as dumb
