Starting a new job is never easy. It does not help when some individuals you have to work with think that because you are young and naturally of a shade of blonde you have no brain cells and make it known by their attitude towards you.
I have been off sick because of a previous tt of an employer since November last year, now fit I am an assistant manager in a charity shop. This work is tough in a variety of ways. All of the volunteers are , been working in the shop for the last century and a bit more and think they know everything when in fact there are many till errors, do not know how to take cheques. They do not even dust! The manager and I and a few of the volunteers are of a mind, despite the generational gap. But I do not look thirty two, I look about eighteen to twenty and subsequently have no idea what I am doing and they refuse to accept my authority. I need a VERY large !
