Today, I get to see George Carlin, one of the funniest damn people
in the world. I can only hope that I can someday write stuff as
brilliant, funny, and insightful as him. I think that might
never happen---especially with the way I've BEEN writing.
Lately, I've come to the realization that I've been very careless with
my writing. I've carelessly left my words on the page like a handgun
left in a nursery.
It's time for me to be more critical of my writings. To pay attention
to what I am writing and WHY I am writing them, and if I attempt to
make something funny, I shouldn't put it down on the page until it
makes me laugh out loud. Check that, it should make me laugh out loud
while I'm sober.
Self-loathing = Me

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
