h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Cotswold chine is a boarding school in Nailsworth Gloustershire. it is for ages 9 - 18. this is a school for those with special needs, such as learning disorders and ADHD. This school is a School and a Care home, so it has accomodation for the students and a varied activity timetable for every young person. the school is based in a 1900 age victorian house. the school building itself was origanaly a hotel called "the Perfect Chine". the school was a hotel in the victorian age, and was converted into a school about 50 years ago. it is a rudolf steiner school that has rescrictions on electrical items (no tv/Radio) as this seems to distract people from socializing with the out side world (hence the varied activity range). This rule can be "bent", as if you are taking any exams, such as ELC, Unit Awards, GCSE's ect... There is also a "Grading" System in operation at the Home-School, It consists of three grades (one, two and three) Grade one being the lowest and Grade three being the highest. here is a brief summary:-
Grade one : constant staff supervision from dawn til dusk.

Grade two : twenty minutes away from staff, or a day outing
with a grade three.

Grade three : all day without supervision (with permission)
