In four month's time I'm moving (about 300 metres) to a new house. We're going to install an ADSL line so that the two of us that want to can go on the internet at a decent speed. An ADSL line between two of us... mmmm....
Anyway, we're already planning what we're going to do with it. I've got a webcam, but haven't decided what to point it at. Any suggestions?

You could put it up in the corner of your lounge, so people could spy on you.
(actually, you could just do that for about five minutes, and then save the sequence. Then loop it on your webpage... no-one will ever know! Bwa ha ha!)

The short length of the cable (it's USB) means that it's fairly limited in its range... in the new house it'll be able to show my bedroom, kitchen, hallway or back garden; possibly the lounge if I drill a hole in the wall, but that may not go down too well with the landlord.
I think I'll point it at the pile of washing up in the kitchen, so people can send emails to us saying 'eeeeww!! You REALLY need to do the washing up.' It's motivational.

Yes, but you're not meant to use more than three metres or something... it loses the signal, I think.

Hey, good idea
The FootCam seems to attract all kinds of perverts. I really need to find something else to point it at. Since I installed the chat feature, all I get is Americans logging on and saying 'oooh, nice feet, I'd like to lick them... can I see more?'

Hmmm, the feet are obviously getting too famous then.
How about a webcam about a webcam? Would that get tedious.
