Hiatus

Currently I'm 'borrowing' my connection (I'm on from Dad's account), which I will only do rarely (and only when Dad's asleep). Yes, I've been gone a good long time. This is the first I've been on since around July, iirc, mayhaps before.
Speaking of Dad, he's not doing so well, and between the two of us we've been living in a flurry of hospitals, Dr's Offices, labs and other miscellaneous nice places since around the time I finally and with finality let ECR drop -- for good. And the flurry isn't over (next week he goes in for a stent in his left carotid artery, which is ~90% blocked, and he's an extremely high-risk for the standard surgery).
Such is the news.

Good to hear from you, but sorry to hear that RL is giving you a rough time...
Seeing you reminds me of us exchanging poetry way back when - and I realized I haven't read any poetry lately for quite some time. Not written any either, for that matter.
