Winter beaches
Leafy Started conversation Jun 14, 1999
I've just spent the weekend at my father's house at the beach.
The weather decided that we are truly in Winter now.
Sunday was cold and drizzly but there was hardly a ripple on the sea and no wind!
Monday, which was a holiday, had rain coming down sideways, cold winds and waves crashing on the shore.
The best place was in front of the roaring fire with a glass of red in hand
I do love the beach in winter! You get so much closer to the elements as you are forced by the wind to participate.
