So I get an E-mail today...my one and only submitted entry...rejected. Ahem, from the editor(s): "Wow! It's intriguing stuff! But it's much better as part of a user page
than the official guide: perhaps "wacky" is the word I'm looking for
here..."

mmmm....Wacky. Oh well, I didn't have my hopes too terribly high. I think it was the suspense that killed me.

Yup, got my first rejection today as well! It was my manuals article (sobs). Admittedly, it was rather silly! But there's plenty of less relevant and generally siller things that have been accepted, so I'm not that bothered...

So let me get this straight...You start doing their "muck work" for them, and you're having articles rejected so fast your head's spinning? Hmmm...sees like it was the other way around not too long ago. Interesting...

Me, i was just amused.

I'm not really bothered whether my pieces are accepted, to be honest. Anyone can write a factual to-the-point article on any subject if they want to get a piece accepted. I just get a kick writing a different sort of material, so I'm not really expecting it to get in!

Besides, subbing is quite good fun, and has its little perks...

Oh, well sure! Come on..we all know you guys are getting kick-backs on smoked pork products and running shoes - and don't pretend that you aren't! Heh, you can't keep any secrets from us.
