h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

This should have been done last night but I had so much trouble getting in and then when I did get in it wouldn't let me post any replies.
Don't know if it is server problems - but it is FRUSTRATING!!
Had a wonderfully decadent day yesterday - went to the theatre TWICE - saw a production of "She Stoops To Conquer" with established actors (including Leo McKern) - not good, very flat. and badly acted (McKern forgot his lines on more than one occasion)
The second play was "Ship of Fools" by Andrew Bovell - a new Australian playwright - a young cast in a tiny little theatre - brilliantly acted and staged on a stage the size of a pocket handkerchief. The play was emotionally charged, entertaining and thought provoking - everything theatre should be.
The mainstream theatre could learn a lot from the smaller theatres. Thank goodness for the gutsy people who will try something new (and yet eminently accessible).
