You can do what I do and just be grateful that you don't live in Iraq or under some volcano. If you think about the big things that _could_ happen the everyday seems a little easier to take.

Things are ok - Mum's not the best but we're coping.

I told the family that we're on strike for Christmas, and that's the way it's going to be. Just sent some cards with my Christmas doggerel and that's it - no presents, no decorations - and you know what? It feels good!
