I'm using "Play the Game" till I can find a better 'midi' version of one that's more upbeat. Dave Matthews? More Queen? Some of the calmer Metallica would be nice, 'though I can't really find any quality midis that do Jimmy and the bunch even a bit of justice.
I found a version of "Seven Seas of Rhye", but it's a bit annoying at the start. And I would put "Death on Two Legs" on, only that I've no one to dedicate it to, and I don't feel like just playing the way-cool first part (after the loud muffled wierd sounds but before the singing, where the guitar plays)...."Stay" or "Pig (a beautiful, meaningful song despite the title which is more reminiscent of NIN)" by DMB, Pink Floyd songs just don't translate into midi well... I'm at a loss. There was a very good version of "Bloody Sunday" by U2 I'd heard somewhere, but I can't find it anymore.
That who ramble was partly because I do prize the music on my page that much, and partly because it's been ages since I've seriously pondered about nothingness on h2g2. It feels good. Now I gotta think of a somethingness to ponder...

'Play the Game' is quite nice Fenchurch, though it's a pity that Pink Floyd doesn't translate well - anything from 'Animals' would be nice to hear. I think Metallica would just sound funny - a bit like the way songs end up when Weird Al Yankovic turns them into polkas!
How about some Nick Cave. "Into My Arms" wouldn't sound too bad on Midi. But where would you find it.....

"Seven Seas of Rhye" is my favorite Queen song, if you can find a decent midi of it.
Have you considered any Zeppelin? I found a midi of "Houses of the Holy" that was really good...

You could always devote Death on Two Legs to me and The Grim Squeaker (he does stand on his hind paws most of the time!), just a thought.
See ya

Kia Ora! Fenchurch.
I saw your gripe about U2 midi files and the loss of contact with a rather good version of "Sunday Bloody Sunday". As a new h2g2 Researcher who likes to try to help where and if I can, and after some ferreting around in AltaVista.com, I offer the URL below. I happen to be a U2 fan in general and of their album "War" in particular. I've heard 3 midi versions of this track and this one soars above the rest. Might not come close to yours though. Try:-
