Discovered at six am that the warmest place in Edinburgh is the toilets in Waverley Station. Only lost two more fingers to frostbite while I waited there for two hours.
No one tried to pick me up, so obviously the crane-hire shops are closed or I'm ugly

Crikey, 2 journal entries in one day, you feeling alright?
What were you doing in the toilets at Waverley, or am I going to regret asking?

Strangely enough, no you're not going to regret it.
Trying to heat up, or more accurately, slow down the onset of hypothermia There's warm air comes out of them and I was beyond caring about the source of it.
I'd been jumping on buses (yeah them again) going anywhere all night just to get out the cold until Waverley opened. If there's an Insomnia in Edimbra, I didn't find it.
I guess the radio broadcast got edited to 5 minutes of usable material? Or am I being too optimistic?

Was this at the last meet? I thought you had somewhere to stay? You should have just given me a ring in that case!
The radio show clocked in at just over an hour. Link's on my page

You didn't find something usable for the radio?
Yeah the last meet, Jamie had enough trouble getting into his hotel, so I had absolutely no chance. I'll remember your kind offer next time and phone you at 4am, "Hhhhi, I'm a..at Th. th..the G..G..Gyle, sssend a t.t..taxi"
Better go and make a start on these photos after I check out the radio, a lot of them are in serious need of Photoshop Intensive Care to be usable.
Big surprise, huh?
Goodnight
