h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

This is my first entry. Exciting so far isn't it. I'm at school right now. Obviously not doing the work I should be but there isn't much excitment in that. Or this for that matter. The greater of two evils. The weather is finnaly begining to warm up here. Hopefully yesterday was the last of the snow. Now I get to look forward to the mud. Which is extra good because my new car is white and my driveway is basically mud. Yaaah. How was that for an entry?

Not a bad first entry at all. How did you come across h2g2? You finding it all right so far?

I first checked out h2g2 after reading The Salmon of Doubt. It was mentioned in one of the little bits. I like it quite a bit so far but haven't really looked around all that much.

Yeah, it’s a pretty big place. I’ve still not explored it fully and I’ve been here for nearly nine months. The thing that impresses me most about it is how friendly and civil it is – not easy to find on the internet.

I probably shouldn’t say this too loudly around here, but I’ve not read many of Adams’ books. I’ve read the first one and The Restaurant at the End of the Universe. I’m more a fan of the original radio series and it was the new radio series that led to me finding h2g2.
