h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

A few things have happened since last posting. I underwent several flip-flops of mood, becoming alternately depressed and ecstatic. Now I'm in a constant state of cynicism. I went on a date with the guy who asked me last time and who I turned down. We saw "American Beauty". It was an excellent movie. Then we drove around for an hour like the hooligans we are. Then he took me home and we stood on the front porch about half a minute saying nothing. Finally, as I turned to go, he called my name. I turned around and he kissed me. About five seconds later, I heard my mom unlcking the door and had to break it off. I'm very disappointed about that; I wanted to finish that kiss. However, he asked me out again for this Saturday, so perhaps it can be finished then. Oh, and I just remembered something funny. My dad was informed of my date, and yesterday, he stoped by our house and gave me lessons on how to repel a boy. Needless to say, this made me feel very stupid and uncomfortable and probably contributed greatly to the feelings of cynicism and sarcasm I am currently in the midst of. So, have a lovely day all, and I will see if I can't write again within a humane time period.

such "talks" disturb me as well... I don't understand why they occur- they make both parties feel extremely stupid and nervous...

Unfortunately, my brain was on hold at the time. This can also be observed in my flagrant mispellings and the lack of interesting things in my journal entry.
