Elysia Meadows

I got a manicure today. My nails are purple and my hands are silky smooth. I went driving on a biggish road today, too. I went about 30 mph. I was nervous. A couple of times I changed lanes without looking behind me. That was stupid. But I forgot! And nothing bad happened. So. My dad is very depressed. My mom is remarrying, and I think he's bitter because he doesn't have a girlfriend and also he is going back to school, so he's feeling very poor. I have a new bottle for my bottle collection. A large chianti bottle, you know, with the reeds. I also have a chianti bottle without reeds, but with a unicorn on the label. It was a very good wine. Very flavorful. I try to taste the other flavors in wine, but all I can sense is the vinegary taste and sometimes tannin and even less frequently the actual grapes. almost all of my relations are winos, though, so I think that it's in my genes to be able to taste wines. At least I know what tannin is, right? Not many teenagers know that. I bought four CDs at a used CD place and spent seven bucks. Not too shabby! This place is called "Earth Pig" and they have large bins with no-name bands for $1. So I bought three of those and then another CD for $4. They're pretty good. I also listened to a German-language record that was pretty weird, it was like German rap from the eighties. I almost bought it, but I decided not to. I did look at a Styx album for some time. But I didn't buy it, either. One day I'll have my own turntable. But for now I must be happy using my dad's when I'm at his house. Enough yammering for today, I think. I must be off to find some cheats for my Ren and Stimpy game.
