Okay, so I went to the meet yesterday yeah. Only I turned up an hour after the meet time (I like to do the fashionable thing). So after pushing through queues of fans (I thought the softball match was taking place in the arena at first!!) and not finding any people resembling a bunch of misfits, I went shopping. Strange how people going to a rock concert look normal when you're looking for a bunch of researchers.
I decided I needed a new squash raquet, my previous one having met with an unfortunate accident of hitting a wall hard. "So," I thought to myself, "I'll just mosey on down to Oxford Street and hit the SPORTS shops." Now call me crazy if you like, but surely sports shops should include maybe a few items of sporting equipment? Nooooo. Silly me. Clothes and trainers only. Sorry!
So to cheer myself up I went and bought a large number of DVDs from a certain purveyor of records, cds, games, videos and dvds. Still haven't got a raquet. Grrrr.

sore knackers for some reason.......
Actually, I did very well to get out of London considering I drank 7 on an empty stomach. Had a keeebab and ate the last of my pringles when I got home. Stiff legs today and a lovely little , which I cured somewhat by playing squash for an hour. Shame I couldn't have stayed longer. I was just getting into it (three more pints and I probably would have been singing!!)
How are you this lovely day?

ah, s'okay then. I found myself on a bizarre train journey chatting to a girl who is 6 years older than me, and some guy just coming back from a small concert in Hyde Park. I managed to find out he knows a guy who was in my class at school and was actually at the concert with this guy's brother. This girl went to my primary school, so I guessed a couple of people that I thought were her year and had siblings in my class. Wierd coincidences.....

Strange how these cocktails can taste sometimes Maybe we should have got you a bigger ash tray or perhaps put neon lights all around it? Maybe clear a flight path to it...

I thought Jon did on saturday
Its not that interesting really
It was the first time I met Jon a couple of months ago.. me and another researcher(kris now known as the ferret or shrek)were going over there for a boozy weekend.
Got to the pub early anyway..n by the time kris got there i was 3 sheets to the wind..(it ws only like 2pm) after a bit too much dutch courage to meet him (wed had a bi of a thing online for a while)..anyway..on the way back to jons i ended up running down the escalator a kings cross tube.. they found it very amusing maybe cos im actually scared of escalators

THAT's it? Well that's a bit of a rubbish revelation. What's so funny about running down escalators? *shrug* I was only half in and out of conversation all night Saturday. Caught the bit about Shrek. But not the escalator saga.
Okay, you can now officially live it down in my eyes
