My goldfish is a cannibal! We added two new goldfish friends to his pond over the weekend and they are gone, disappeared, vanished! Freddy the goldfish is still there of course, ambling around the pond, drinking chianti and listening to classical music.
The question I want to know is how he did it? I didn't see any knives around the pool on Sunday...
And what is the law on punishing goldfish for cannibalism?

I had a pearlscale called Brian, who not insisted on eating his tank-mates eyes. He did not touch any other part of them, just ate their eyes.
What a sick puppy that fish was!

Do I feel like a right idiot...
After at least a week of maligning my poor goldfish and feeding him at arms length (just in case), I looked in again this weekend, and what do you know? Three goldfish happily swimming around (eyes intact, I think)! Not only that, but they have been joined by a rather big frog.
Where they disappeared to the last time, and from where the frog appeared are one of these strange mysteries of the universe I guess.
Oh well. To any goldfish out there who feel that I have slandered their reputation, mucho big apologies.

I've heard about those - bad news alright. eaters they say...
No, my Freddy was just having an Italian evening with some friends, and the friends were playing hide-and-seek.
Should I add a to the pond, do you think?
